Job summary

Acorn by Synergy is recruiting HGV Class 2 Drivers for a well-known local business based at the Glasgow Hub. You will deliver within a local 50-mile radius, work with a modern fleet, and enjoy regular weekday hours.

Opportunities include a temporary to permanent role, 6am starts, and PAYE pay with weekly wages. If you are reliable, safety-conscious and have at least 12 months HGV driving experience, apply today.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence.
• Minimum 12 months' HGV driving experience.
• Digital Tachograph Card.
• Counterbalance FLT experience preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Complete 3-6 deliveries within a 50-mile radius of the Glasgow hub.
• Carry out vehicle checks before and after each shift.
• Ensure deliveries are completed safely, efficiently, and on time.
• Maintain accurate delivery paperwork and records.
• Comply with all road transport legislation and company procedures.

Skills

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced HGV drivers looking for ongoing work with the potential to secure a permanent position. You\'ll be delivering within a local radius, working with a modern fleet and enjoying regular weekday hours.

What We Offer

• £17.00 per hour (PAYE).
