Job summary

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers to join a leading logistics company based in Cardiff. You will perform Class 1 deliveries across the UK with a 6am start, Monday to Friday, and ongoing opportunities.

PAYE £16 per hour with umbrella rate £19, weekend enhanced rates, and 8 hours' pay minimum per shift. The role requires a valid HGV Class 1 licence, CPC qualification, and Digital Tachograph Card, plus a customer-focused, detail-oriented approach.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 1 licence held with CPC accreditation.
• Digital Tachograph Card and knowledge of tachograph rules.
• Strong knowledge of UK driving regulations and safe delivery practices.

Responsibilities

• Complete trailer drop and swap deliveries across the UK.
• Carry out 3-5 deliveries per day.
• Complete all delivery documentation accurately.
• Conduct daily vehicle checks and keep the vehicle clean and well maintained.
• Ensure deliveries are completed safely and on time.
• Maintain a professional and customer-focused approach at all times.
