Job summary

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver for a full-time, temp-to-perm role based in Newton Abbot. The position offers 5am starts, a consistent workload, and competitive pay with an ongoing support from the Acorn Driving Team.

You will make multi-drop deliveries across the South West and receive a minimum of eight hours' pay per shift. Immediate start available with modern fleet and employee benefits.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with Class 2 (Cat C) entitlement.
• Digital Tachograph Card.
• Previous multi-drop delivery experience is preferred.
• Good knowledge of road transport regulations.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• 8–12 multi-drop deliveries per day across the South West.
• Safely drive and operate a Class 2 (Cat C) vehicle.
• Complete deliveries accurately, safely and on time.
• Provide professional, customer-focused service at delivery locations.
• Follow all road transport regulations and company procedures.
• Carry out daily vehicle safety checks.
• Report any vehicle defects or maintenance issues promptly.
• Complete required delivery paperwork and documentation.

Introduction

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting an experienced

HGV Class 2 (Cat C) Driver for a full-time

temp to perm position with a well-established national business based in

Newton Abbot.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Class 2 Driver looking for

consistent work, early starts and competitive pay, with the potential to secure a permanent position.

You’ll be making multi-drop deliveries across the South West as part of a professional driving team, with a minimum of eight hours' pay guaranteed per shift.
