Job summary

Siamo Group are recruiting for an experienced 7.5 Tonne Driver to join our Tiverton operation, with potential to move into a permanent position. This hands-on role involves multi-drop deliveries to pubs, supermarkets and events, ensuring safe, on-time arrivals and a high standard of customer service.

Working hours are Monday to Friday with starts 4:00am–6:00am and finishes 1:00pm–5:00pm. Applicants must hold a UK C1 licence, Driver CPC, and a current Digital Tachograph Card.

Qualifications

• Valid UK C1 driving licence (7.5 Tonne) with max 6 penalty points.
• Valid Driver CPC qualification.
• Current Digital Tachograph Card.
• Experience with multi-drop deliveries.
• Good numeracy and literacy levels.
• Forklift licence (B1) is a plus but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Complete multi-drop deliveries safely and efficiently.
• Ensure orders are delivered accurately, on time and in good condition.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report faults.
• Load/unload goods and assist with yard duties as needed.
• Maintain high health and safety standards.
• Handle customer queries professionally and relay issues to the team.
• Complete all delivery paperwork accurately.

Job description

Location:Tiverton| £14.99 per hour| Class 2 driver

Siamo Group arecurrently recruiting for an experienced 7.5 Tonne Driver to join our client's operation in Tiverton, with the opportunity to move into a permanent position.

This is a hands-on delivery role involving multi-drop work to a variety of customers, including pubs, supermarkets and events. You will be responsible for making sure deliveries arrive safely, on schedule and to a high standard, while providing a professional and friendly service to customers.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, with start times between 4:00am and 6:00am and finishes between 1:00pm and 5:00pm

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Completing multi-drop deliveries safely and efficiently across the designated delivery area.
• Ensuring customer orders are delivered accurately, on time and in good condition.
• Carrying out the necessary daily vehicle checks and reporting any faults or defects immediately.
• Loading and unloading goods and assisting with general yard duties when required.
• Maintaining high standards of health and safety at all times.
• Dealing with customer queries or delivery problems in a professional manner and passing any issues to the relevant team.
• Completing all required paperwork and delivery documentation accurately.

Qualifications and must have's:

• A valid UK C1 driving licence (7.5 Tonne), with no more than 6 penalty points.
• A valid Driver CPC qualification.
• A current Digital Tachograph Card.
• Previous experience carrying out multi-drop deliveries.
• Good levels of numeracy and literacy.
• A B1 Counterbalance Forklift licence would be an advantage but is not essential
• Good time-management and organisational skills.
