Job summary

Swift Temps is recruiting an experienced 7.5T driver for aDaventry operation. This full-time role offers £16.52 per hour with overtime and potential temp-to-perm for the right candidate.

Early starts around 5–6am, average shifts about 9 hours, with heavy lifting involved. You will perform multi-drop deliveries to commercial customers, handle white goods, use tail lift and trolley, complete delivery paperwork, and provide courteous service at delivery points.

Qualifications

• Valid 7.5T (Category C1) licence is required.
• CPC and Digital Tachograph card are mandatory.
• Previous multi-drop experience is preferred.
• Good knowledge of driver hours and road safety regulations is required.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic are essential.
• No criminal record and a background check will be carried out.

Responsibilities

• Perform multi-drop deliveries to commercial customers.
• Handle white goods deliveries and use tail lift and trolley.
• Start times are early (around 5–6am); average shifts ~9 hours.
• Complete delivery paperwork and conduct vehicle checks.
• Provide excellent customer service at delivery points.
• Ensure timely and safe deliveries and maintain high standards of service.

We are currently recruiting for an experienced 7.5T drivers, to join a busy and growing operation based in Daventry. This is a fantastic opportunity for reliable and professional drivers looking for full-time work with the opportunity to secure a permanent position.

PLEASE NOTE- this will include heavy lifting.

The Role

• Multi-drop deliveries to commercial customers
• White goods delivery
• Use of tail lift and trolley
• Early morning starts at 5-6am
• Average shift length of around 9 hours
• Ensuring timely and safe deliveries
• Vehicle checks and completion of delivery paperwork
• Providing excellent customer service at delivery points

Requirements

• Valid 7.5T (Category C1) licence
