Job summary

Berry Recruitment seeks a 7.5 Tonne Driver for Bedford/Kempston on a temporary to ongoing basis. You will deliver white goods, brown goods and bulky items, often in a two-person team, and provide excellent customer service on every delivery.

Shifts begin at 6:00 AM or 10:00 AM, with pay at £15.63 per hour and weekend work available. A valid C1 licence, CPC and Tachograph card are essential, along with fitness for heavy lifting.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Category C1 (7.5T) driving licence.
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Previous multi-drop delivery experience preferred.
• Physically fit and comfortable with heavy lifting.
• Reliable, punctual and customer-focused.

Responsibilities

• Driving a 7.5-tonne vehicle safely and efficiently.
• Delivering white goods, brown goods, and other bulky items to customers' homes.
• Manual handling and lifting of items up to 80-90kg in a two-person team where required.
• Carrying goods into customers' properties and placing them in the requested room.
• Completing delivery paperwork and following company procedures.
• Providing a professional and friendly service at every delivery.

The Role
