Job summary

VTA Recruitment is seeking an experienced Class 2 (Category C) Driver for a temporary role in Middleton. This night-shift position runs Sunday to Thursday, 18:00 starts, with pay of £19.00 per hour.

The assignment involves store deliveries across the North West, operating Class 2 vehicles safely and delivering paperwork and PODs as required. Applicants must have CPC and a valid UK licence, with 12 months driving experience and clean record.

Qualifications

• Must hold valid UK Class 2 (C) driving licence.
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Minimum 12 months Class 2 driving experience.
• No more than 6 points on licence.
• Reliable, flexible with strong customer service.

Responsibilities

• Carry out store deliveries across the North West and surroundings.
• Safely operate Class 2 vehicles in line with road traffic laws.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and ensure on-time deliveries.
• Complete delivery paperwork and electronic PODs.

VTA Recruitment is currently recruiting on behalf of our well-established client for an experienced Class 2 (Category C) Driver to support operations on a temporary basis.

This is a short-term temporary role covering Sunday 9th August to Thursday 13th August, ideal for an experienced driver looking for night work.

Pay & Working Pattern

• £19.00 per hour
• Sunday 9th August - Thursday 13th August
• Night Shifts, 18:00 starts

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out store deliveries across the North West and surrounding areas.
• Safely operate Class 2 (Category C) vehicles in accordance with all road traffic legislation and company procedures.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and ensures all deliveries are made safely and on time.
• Complete delivery paperwork and electronic PODs where required
• Provide a professional and courteous service at all delivery locations.

What We're Looking For

• Valid UK Class 2 (Category C) driving licence
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Minimum of 12 months Class 2 driving experience
• No more than 6 points on your driving licence
