Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc in Rochdale (OL16 4NZ) is hiring skilled Class 2 drivers to join our Transport team. This full-time, permanent role offers 47.5 hours per week, with 9.5 hours per day and a shift pattern of any 5 days out of 7, including early starts.

You will deliver and collect goods to high street retailers, load and unload using tail-lift and roll cages, and operate company vehicles safely and legally.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid Class 2 licence.
• No more than 6 penalty points on your licence (no DD, DR, DG, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT).
• An up-to-date CPC and Digital Tachograph
• Commitment to safety and compliance with driving regulations
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work on your initiative

Responsibilities

• Deliver and collect goods to and from various high street retailers across multiple locations
• Loading and unloading using tail-lift and roll cages (sometimes pallets)
• Operate company vehicles in a safe, legal, and efficient manner
• Complete all necessary paperwork correctly, in full and on time
• Be compliant with Driver’s hours, Tachograph, Working Time, and Road Traffic Act regulations
