Job summary

Gi Group in Lutterworth is seeking a Class 2 Driver for ongoing work with an ASAP start. You will perform vehicle checks, complete 3–4 drops and collections to distribution sites, use a pump truck, and deliver safely to customers across the UK. New passes welcome and a valid UK Cat C licence is required.

Shifts include Sunday to Friday patterns with various start times and 6–10 hour durations. Weekly pay, free onsite parking, and a Benefits Hub access are provided by Gi Group.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Category C driving licence (Class 2).
• New passes welcome.
• No more than 6 points on licence for insurance purposes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct vehicle checks.

Class 2 Driver duties will include:

• Conducting Vehicle checks
• 3-4 drops and collections to Distribution Sites
• Use of Pump Truck
• Delivering safely to customers throughout the UK
• Prioritising workload to ensure time commitments are met

Class 2 Driver Shift Patterns:

• Sunday to Friday PM 00:00 to 01:00 starts
• Monday to Friday 16:00 starts
• Sunday 04:00/06:00 starts
• 6-10 hour shift

Class 2 Driver Pay Rates:

• Days - £16.93ph (Advanced Holiday rate included)
• Twilight - £17.95 (Advance Holiday rate included)
• Nights - £18.96ph (Advanced Holiday rate included)

Class 2 Driver requirements and skills:

• You MUST have a Valid Full UK Category C Driving Licence
• New passes welcome
• No more than 6 points on your licence for insurance purposes (no BA/CD/CU/DR/DD/IN/TT offences please)
