Job summary

GI Group in Leicester is seeking a Class 2 Driver for ongoing work with an ASAP start. Shifts are Monday to Friday, 04:00–05:30, delivering refrigerated goods around Leicestershire to pubs, cafes and shops, with handball of cages.

Applicants must have 2 years Class 2 driving experience, a valid UK Cat C licence, CPC and Digi Tacho, and a maximum of six minor points. Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 2 years Class 2 driving experience required.
• Ability to conduct manual deliveries.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a positive customer service attitude.
• Valid UK Cat C (Class 2) driving licence required.
• Valid CPC and Digi Tacho cards; up to 6 minor points; no disqualifying offences.

Responsibilities

• Drivers will perform caged deliveries of refrigerated goods around Leicestershire to pubs, cafes and shops.
• Manual handling of cages with handball involved.
• Ensure safe loading, unloading and route adherence.

Pay rates: £18.77 per hour (Pay rates include Advanced Holiday Rate)

Job Role

Drivers will be performing caged deliveries of refrigerated goods around Leicestershire to pubs, cafes and shops. There will be handball involved of the cages.

What we're looking for:

• 2 years Class 2 driving experience needed.
• Ability to conduct manual deliveries.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a positive customer service attitude.
