Class 1 Personnel is sourcing a Class 2 Driver for the Wetherby area. The role involves safe operation of a lorry, pre-trip checks, secure loads, and timely deliveries on a Mon-Fri, 7am start schedule. The client values reliability, teamwork, and a strong work ethic.

Salary is paid at £16.54 per hour with in-house training and a pension scheme. Right to work in the UK is required, with a minimum age of 21 and Category C (Class 2) licence holders preferred.

We are currently recruiting a Class 2 Driver to work for our client.

The Role

As a Class 2 driver you'll be reporting to the Team Leader, you will work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment, adapting to new situations on a daily basis. This is a physically and mentally demanding role that requires reliability, flexibility, and a strong work ethic.

Shifts:

Start time:-7am- 9,10 hours shifts

Monday to Friday

Key Responsibilities

• Safe and legal operation of a lorry
• Conducting pre-trip vehicle checks
• Ensuring loads are secure
• Planning efficient delivery routes
• Adhering to drivers' hours and road regulations
• Delivering goods to specified locations on time

Requirements

• Full UK driving licence with Category C (Class 2)
• Minimum age-21
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
• Strong work ethic with a positive, can-do attitude
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Right to work in the UK
• Minimum 1 year's experience desirable, but not essential
