Job summary

Ignition Driver Recruitment are seeking a Class 2 Driver in Hemel Hempstead to drive a Cat C vehicle and complete multi-drop deliveries of carpets. You will perform heavy lifting and manual handling with equipment provided, conduct vehicle checks, and complete required paperwork.

The role requires 12 months of commercial driving experience and a valid DCPC and Digi-tacho card. The position offers 10-hour shifts, Monday to Friday, with a guaranteed pattern, on a temp-to-perm basis after 12 weeks.

As this is a customer/client facing role, we are looking for people who are clean and tidy and have the ability to deal with different types of people.

About you

Youmusthave your Class 2 Driving Licence and at least 12 months experience driving commercially. You must also have your UK DCPC card and a valid Digi-tacho card. Our client may accept up to 6 points on your licence, but we can not acceptDD, TT, DR, CD, INendorsements.

As a professional Driver, you will be up to date with the WTD regulations and maintain your own compliance requirements and you will be required to complete a Drug & Alcohol test and also a driving assessment.

Youmustbe a UK resident (we are unable to assist people with VISAs or relocation) and have the relevant Right To Work documentation.
