Job summary

The Best Connection are recruiting an HGV Class 2 (LGV C) Driver for a Leeds-based role. You will deliver chilled and frozen foods, perform manual handling, and typically work with a Driver's Mate on multi-drop routes across local sites.

Shifts run with start times around 10:30 AM, Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, with no weekend work required. The position offers PAYE pay and consistent work through 2026.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 2 (LGV C) licence (minimum 6 months)
• Up-to-date CPC and Digital Tachograph card
• Maximum of 6 penalty points (no major endorsements)
• Good level of fitness due to manual handling
• Reliable, punctual, and customer-focused

The Role

• Delivering chilled and frozen food products - up to 10 per day
• Use of tail-lift and pump truck
• Manual handling required
• Usually working alongside a Driver's Mate
• Multi-drop deliveries to various locations

Shift Pattern

• Monday, Tuesday and Thursday.
• Start time: 10:30 AM
• Flexibility required for finish times
• Day shifts - no weekend work

Requirements
