Job summary

The Best Connection is actively recruiting HGV Class 2 drivers for Daventry on day shifts. This ongoing temp-to-perm role offers a starting rate of £16.14 per hour and regular hours from 05:00 to 07:00 with minimum 8-hour shifts.

UK-based drops, handballing, load security, and completion of delivery paperwork are part of the main duties. A valid Class 2 licence, the ability to work reliably to rosters, and a good understanding of drivers' hours are required.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) Licence.
• Commitment to shifts/rotas.
• Ability to work safely alone.
• Time management and punctuality.
• A good understanding of UK drivers' hours.

Responsibilities

• UK based drops and handballing as required.

The Best Connection are currently recruiting for HGV Class 2 Drivers with our global logistics and supply chain company that operates both freight management and contract logistics. This is an ongoing opportunity with temp to perm opportunities and excellent earning potential with long-term prospects.

About the Role

HGV Class 2 Drivers - Main duties and requirements are:

• UK based drops
• Handballing required
• Ensuring your load is safe and secure
• Completion of delivery paperwork
• Maximum 6 points accepted ( No DD/ DR offences)
• Vehicle checks

Working Hours

• 05:00 - 07:00 start time
• Minimum 8-hour shifts

Pay

• £16.14 per hour
