Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a full-time Class 2/7.5T Delivery Driver to join our Home Delivery team in Bedford. You will safely operate a 7.5 tonne vehicle, deliver to customer premises, and ensure stock is secured and logged correctly.

The role requires a full UK driving licence (Class 2/7.5T), a valid Driver Qualification Card and Digital Tachograph Card, and strong time management, communication and customer-service skills. Benefits include a comprehensive package and career progression.

Are you an experienced Class 2/7.5T Driver looking for a change? Would you like to work for a market leading company with fantastic benefits? Deliver products ensuring all items are handled correctly, some hand balling/heavy lifting involved
Collect and accurately log product returns during deliveries
Complete tachographs in compliance with legal and company requirements. Conduct pre- and post-journey vehicle checks and promptly report any defects
A full UK driving licence with category Class 2 or 7.5T grandfather entitlement
A valid Driver Qualification Card and valid Digital Tachograph Card
No more than 6 current penalty points
No DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, LC or TT99 endorsements with a conviction date within the previous 5 years
Excellent Time management skills and comfortable in working to deadlines, excellent communication and customer service skills are essential

Here at GXO Logistics, we are looking for a full-time, permanent Class 2/7.5T Delivery Driver, to join our Home Delivery team in Bedford, MK43 0ZY.
You'll be working on a full time, permanent basis, 48 hours per week, 4 out of 6 days with the start time window between 05:00 and 07:00, flexibility required for earlier start times when needed. You will be responsible for delivering products to customer premises. All successful candidates will require a DBS clearance.
