Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. in Doncaster is seeking a full-time, permanent multi-drop Class 2 driver for our home delivery team. You will work 45 hours per week from Monday to Friday, starting at 05:30, delivering products for Howdens with a strong focus on safety and customer service.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with Class 2 entitlement.
• Driver Qualification Card (Driver CPC) holder.
• Digital Tachograph Card required.
• No more than 6 penalty points on licence.
• DBS check will be required at selection.

Responsibilities

• Safely deliver customer products on time with excellent service.
• Complete multi-drop routes efficiently while following driving laws.
• Conduct vehicle checks and report defects promptly.
• Support transport and yard operations when needed, prioritising Health & Safety.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Safely deliver customer products on time, ensuring excellent service at every delivery
• Complete multi-drop routes efficiently while adhering to all driving legislation and safety standards
• Conduct vehicle checks, report defects promptly, and ensure loads are securely fastened to prevent damage
• Support the wider transport and yard operations as required, demonstrating flexibility, professionalism, and a strong commitment to Health & Safety

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• A full UK driving licence with category Class 2 entitlement
• A valid Driver Qualification Card (Driver CPC)
• Be in possession of a valid Digital Tachograph Card
• No more than 6 current penalty points
• Successful applicant will be subject to a DBS check
• No DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT99 endorsements with a conviction date within the previous 5 years
