Job summary

Evoke Staffing Ltd is recruiting experienced Class 2 HGV Drivers for a 12-week temp-to-perm role based in Stoke-on-Trent.

You will deliver goods to supermarket stores on multi-drop routes, with back door deliveries and professional service at every stop. Induction and ongoing support are provided to help you settle in quickly.

Shifts start early (02:00–04:00) with around 48 hours per week, offering a clear path to permanent employment for reliable drivers.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 2 Licence with over 2 years commercial driving experience.
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Good understanding of drivers' hours and Working Time Directive regulations.
• Professional, reliable and customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities

Shift Pattern

• Week 1: Tuesday to Saturday
• Week 2: Monday to Saturday, with either Wednesday or Thursday as your rest day
• Average 48 hours per working week
• 12-hour shifts
• Start times from 02.00-04.00

The Role

• Delivering goods to supermarket stores(Multi Drop)
• Back door deliveries
• All products are supplied on wheels, making unloading straightforward
• Providing a professional and courteous service at each delivery location
• Full induction and ongoing support provided

Training

During your first week, you will work alongside an experienced driver to familiarise yourself with the routes, delivery procedures and day-to-day operation before driving independently.

Requirements

• Valid Class 2 Licence With over 2 years commercial driving experience
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Good understanding of drivers' hours and Working Time Directive regulations
• Professional, reliable, and customer-focused approach
• Previous supermarket or store delivery experience is advantageous but not essential
