Job summary

M4 Talent Group - Heathrow in Hounslow is seeking a Class 2 (HGV Cat C) Driver for a full-time dray role delivering alcohol to pubs, hotels and restaurants across the South East. You will work with a Driver's Mate and assist with unloading to complete deliveries safely.

The role is physically demanding, demanding regular manual handling, and requires a valid Class 2 licence, CPC, tachograph card, and good driving record. Start times are early, with a Monday–Friday pattern.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence held with up to 3 penalty points.
• Minimum 6 months' Class 2 driving experience.
• Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card holders required.
• Physically capable of heavy manual handling on a daily basis.
• Must live within one hour of Hounslow for reliable start.

Responsibilities

• Multi-drop deliveries of alcohol to pubs, hotels and restaurants across the South East.
• Work with a Driver's Mate to complete deliveries safely and efficiently.
• Assist with unloading kegs and cases as part of dray work.
• Complete delivery paperwork accurately and on time.
• Comply with Driver Hours and Tachograph regulations and maintain safety.
• Provide excellent customer service at each delivery location.

Class 2 (HGV Class 2) Driver Hounslow

Location: Hounslow
Pay: £20.00 per hour
Start Time: 06:00
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday

We are looking for a reliable and experienced Class 2 (Category C) Driver to join our team based in Hounslow. This is a full-time, ongoing role delivering alcoholic beverages to pubs, hotels, and restaurants across the South East.

You will be working with a Driver's Mate, but this is dray work, so you will be expected to assist with unloading deliveries. The role is physically demanding and involves regular manual handling, making it suitable for someone who enjoys an active working day.

Key Responsibilities

• Multi-drop deliveries of alcohol to pubs, hotels, and restaurants across the South East.
• Working alongside a Driver's Mate to complete deliveries safely and efficiently.
• Assisting with unloading kegs, cases, and other products.
• Completing delivery paperwork accurately.
• Complying with all Driver Hours and Tachograph regulations.
• Providing excellent customer service at each delivery location.

Essential Requirements

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) Licence.
• Minimum 6 months' Class 2 driving experience.
• No more than 3 penalty points on your driving licence.
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Physically fit and capable of carrying out heavy manual handling.
• Must live within one hour of Hounslow to ensure a reliable 06:00 start.
• Professional, reliable, and customer-focused attitude.

Assessment Process

Successful applicants will be required to complete:

• Maths assessment.
• English assessment.
• Driver Hours and Tachograph Rules test.
• Tachograph daily manual entries assessment.
• Practical driving assessment.

Important Dates Please Read Carefully

Driver assessments will take place on Wednesday 22nd at 06:30. This date and time are non-negotiable and cannot be changed.

Successful drivers will be required to start on Monday 27th at 07:30. This start date is also non-negotiable.

Please do not apply if you are unable to attend the assessment on Wednesday 22nd at 06:30 or start work on Monday 27th at 07:30.
