Job summary

The Recruitment Crowd are recruiting for an industry-leading client in Swindon for multiple HGV Class 2 Drivers (CAT C). New Pass Welcome. Roles include night shifts Sunday to Friday and Sunday morning hours with pay rates from £15.46-£16.16 per hour PAYE and Sunday mornings £14.36-£15.11.

Ongoing with potential permanent positions for the right candidate. Responsibilities include delivering palletized parcels, using tail lift/pump truck, ensuring timely and safe deliveries, and maintaining

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with Class 2 entitlement (category C).
• DCPC and Digital Tachograph card valid.
• No more than 6 points on licence.
• Understanding of WTD legislation.
• Able to operate tail lift and pump truck equipment.
• Willingness to undertake driving assessment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver palletized parcels to sub depots and delivery units; conduct collections.
• Use tail lift/pump truck to handle pallets at sub depots.
• Ensure timely and safe delivery of goods.
• Maintain a clean and organised vehicle.
• Collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams for efficient operations.
• Complete a theory and practical assessment and paid training if successful.

Job description: The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Swindon area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 2 Drivers (CAT C) to join the team. New Pass Welcome!

Roles

• HGV Class 2 nights - Sunday to Friday, 5 out of 7 shifts a week (weekends included)
• Sunday morning drivers - you will work 4 hours but be paid for 8
• Hours: Nights - 22:00pm - 23:59pm
• Sunday am - 6am-7am
• Pay Rate: Nights - £15.46 per hour PAYE rising to £16.16
• Sunday am - £ 14.36 per hour PAYE rising to £15.11

Location: Swindon, SN3

The role

Requirements

• Full UK driving licence with Class 2 entitlement (category C).
• Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
• Full understanding of WTD legislation.
• Ability to operate tail lift and pump truck equipment.
• Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position.
• Excellent communication skills.
• A safety-first mindset.
