Job summary

Pure Staff's Driving Team are currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 2 Drivers to support one of our customers based in Gloucester. Immediate starts are available for reliable HGV Class 2 Drivers.

This role involves general haulage deliveries to a variety of customer sites across the region. Drivers will be responsible for completing multi-drop deliveries of palletised goods, using a curtain-sider trailer, with up to 16 deliveries per shift, unless its bulk, which is then only 2-4 drops.

Qualifications

• UK Category C Licence holder with valid CPC and Tachograph cards.
• Minimum 2 years HGV Class 2 driving experience.
• No more than 6 penalty points on licence.
• Professional, reliable and safety-conscious attitude.

Responsibilities

• Conduct multi-drop deliveries to various customer sites using curtain-sider trailers.
• Complete up to 16 drops per shift for standard runs, 2–4 drops for bulk runs.
• Ensure compliance with driver hours and tachograph regulations.
• Maintain vehicle safety checks and accurate paperwork.

Pure Staff's Driving Team are currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 2 Drivers to support one of our customers based in Gloucester. Immediate starts are available for reliable HGV Class 2 Drivers.

This role involves general haulage deliveries to a variety of customer sites across the region. Drivers will be responsible for completing multi-drop deliveries of palletised goods, using a curtain-sider trailer, with up to 16 deliveries per shift, unless its bulk, which is then only 2-4 drops.

Day shifts are available Monday to Friday, with typical start times from 07:00 and average shift lengths of around 8-10 hours. This is ongoing, long-term work offering regular and consistent shifts.

Rates for an HGV Class 2 Driver: Monday to Friday (Days) = £15.00ph (+ holiday accrued) or £16.81ph (with holiday pay rolled up)

To be successful in this HGV Class 2 Driver role, you will need:

• UK Category C Licence
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Valid Driver CPC Card
• Minimum 2 years' HGV Class 2 driving experience
• No more than 6 penalty points
• A professional, reliable and safety-conscious attitude
• Good understanding of driver hours, tachograph regulations and vehicle safety checks
• Previous multi-drop or palletised distribution experience is beneficial but not essential
