Doherty & Lafferty is seeking an experienced Class 2 Driver to join our team in Dumbarton. You will deliver and collect loads using a tipper lorry, maintaining high safety and service standards while representing the company professionally.

The role offers stable, full-time employment with Monday to Friday hours, and a focus on reliable, on-time performance and excellent customer interactions. Training and support are provided to help you grow within the company.

Qualifications

• Full UK Class 2 (Cat C) driving licence.
• Valid Driver CPC qualification.
• Digital tachograph card.
• Good knowledge of UK roads and driving regulations.
• Reliable, punctual and professional attitude.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate tipper lorry in accordance with all relevant legislation and company procedures.
• Complete deliveries and collections efficiently and on schedule.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects or maintenance issues.
• Ensure loads are secure and transported safely.
• Accurately complete delivery paperwork and documentation.
• Communicate professionally with customers, colleagues and other road users.
• Maintain the cleanliness and overall condition of the vehicle.
• Follow all company health and safety procedures.
• Assist with loading and unloading when required.
• Always represent the company in a professional and courteous manner.
