RECRUITMENTiQ is assisting in finding a dependable Class 2 Driver for a Dumbarton-based role with a well-established local employer. The position offers Monday to Friday hours, a starting pay of £13.71 per hour, and a clear path for progression within a stable, full-time environment.

You will deliver and collect loads safely, maintain vehicle standards, and provide excellent customer service while representing the company professionally at all times.

Qualifications

• Full UK Class 2 (Cat C) licence and CPC.
• Digital tachograph card holder.
• Excellent knowledge of UK roads and driving regulations.
• Safe, responsible driving with a professional attitude.
• Reliable, punctual and professional.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate tipper lorry in accordance with legislation and procedures.
• Complete deliveries and collections on schedule.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report defects.
• Ensure loads are secure and transported safely.
• Accurately complete delivery paperwork and documentation.
• Communicate professionally with customers and colleagues.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and condition.
• Follow health and safety procedures.
• Assist with loading and unloading when required.
• Represent the company in a professional and courteous manner.
