Job summary

VTA Recruitment Ltd in Dukinfield is currently looking for two Class 2 HGV Drivers to join a busy delivery operation based in Dukinfield. The role is Monday to Friday with early starts, nationwide kitchen deliveries, and a physical workload including loading and unloading the vehicle.

You will start between 05:00 and 06:00, work in a compliant manner with drivers’ hours, tachograph and health and safety rules. Valid Class 2 licence, Driver CPC and Tachograph Card are required.

Qualifications

• Valid Category C / Class 2 licence.
• Valid Driver CPC.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Good knowledge of driver hours and working time regulations.
• Comfortable with manual handling and a physically demanding role.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Good communication skills.
• Previous Class 2 delivery experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Driving a Class 2 vehicle on nationwide delivery routes.
• Delivering kitchens to customer and site locations.
• Loading and unloading goods from the vehicle.
• Carrying out vehicle checks before and after shifts.
• Completing delivery paperwork accurately.
• Ensuring goods are transported safely and securely.
• Providing a professional service at delivery points.

Class 2 HGV Drivers - Dukinfield

VTA Recruitment is currently looking for 2 x Class 2 HGV Drivers to join a busy delivery operation based in Dukinfield.

This is a Monday to Friday role with early starts, carrying out nationwide kitchen deliveries. The position will involve both driving and manual handling, so applicants must be comfortable with a physical role that includes loading and unloading the vehicle.

Pay: £16.00 per hour

Hours: Monday to Friday

Start time: Between 05:00 and 06:00

Location: Dukinfield
