Interaction Recruitment Group in Milton Keynes is looking for experienced Class 2 HGV Drivers for ongoing work. The role offers early or day starts, a 5-on 3-off rota, and shifts of 10–12 hours with deliveries across London and surrounding areas.

You will operate 18-tonne Class 2 vehicles with tail lifts, perform daily checks, and complete paperwork while maintaining safety standards. Requires Class 2 licence, Driver CPC, tachograph card, and 2 years’ experience.

CLASS 2 HGV DRIVERS WANTED - MILTON KEYNES

£18 - £30ph

We are currently recruiting experienced Class 2 HGV Drivers for ongoing work based in Milton Keynes. This is a great opportunity for reliable and professional drivers looking for consistent work, competitive pay rates and regular shift patterns.

THE ROLE

• 5-on, 3-off shift pattern
• 10-12 hour shifts
• 2-3 deliveries/collections per shift
• Start times between 01:00-04:00 or 08:00-10:00
• Deliveries and collections across London and surrounding areas
• Occasional work further afield, including Birmingham and Manchester
• Driving 18-tonne Class 2 vehicles
• Vehicles are equipped with tail lifts
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks before and after shifts
• Completing all relevant delivery paperwork and documentation
• Ensuring goods are handled and transported safely
• Maintaining high standards of vehicle safety and compliance
• Working professionally with customers and delivery sites
• Some manual handling may be required as part of the role

PAY RATES

Early Starts: 01:00-04:00

• £20.01 per hour basic
• Up to £30.00 per hour, depending on applicable hours/rates

Day Starts: 08:00-10:00

• £18.00 per hour basic
• Up to £27.00 per hour, depending on applicable hours/rates
• Overtime paid after 9.5 hours
• Ongoing work available
• Regular 5-on, 3-off rota

REQUIREMENTS

To be considered for this position, you must have:

• A valid Class 2 (Category C) HGV licence
• Valid Driver CPC qualification
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Minimum 2 years of previous HGV Class 2 driving experience
• A good understanding of drivers' hours and tachograph regulations
• A strong understanding of vehicle safety and compliance
• A reliable and professional approach to work
• Good communication and customer service skills
• The ability to complete vehicle checks and required paperwork
• The ability to carry out physical/manual handling duties where required
• A good attendance and punctuality record

THE IDEAL DRIVER

We are looking for dependable Class 2 drivers who take pride in their work and are comfortable working independently. You should be confident carrying out deliveries and collections, dealing with customers and completing all required paperwork while maintaining safe and compliant driving standards.

Mainly London and surrounding areas, with occasional deliveries and collections in locations including Birmingham and Manchester.
