Job summary

GXO Logistics is seeking a full-time, permanent Class 2 Driver to join our home delivery team in Doncaster, DN4 5PD. The role involves multi-drop routes, safe loading, and delivering customer products on time with a strong commitment to health and safety.

You must hold a full UK category Class 2 licence, a Driver CPC, and a Digital Tachograph Card, with DBS checks required and no more than 6 penalty points. Training and progression opportunities are available.

Class 2 Driver

Here at GXO Logistics, we are looking for a full-time, permanent multi drop Class 2 driver to join our home delivery team in Doncaster, DN4 5PD for our customer, Howdens.

You will be contracted to work 45 hours per week, working Monday to Friday, start time 05:30.

What you'll do on a typical day:

• Safely deliver customer products on time, ensuring excellent service at every delivery
• Complete multi-drop routes efficiently while adhering to all driving legislation and safety standards
• Conduct vehicle checks, report defects promptly, and ensure loads are securely fastened to prevent damage
• Support the wider transport and yard operations as required, demonstrating flexibility, professionalism, and a strong commitment to Health & Safety

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• A full UK driving licence with category Class 2 entitlement
• A valid Driver Qualification Card (Driver CPC)
• Be in possession of a valid Digital Tachograph Card
• No more than 6 current penalty points
• Successful applicant will be subject to a DBS check
• No DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT99 endorsements with a conviction date within the previous 5 years
