Job summary

IRD Recruitment in Crick is hiring three HGV Class 2 drivers for Saturday work, with early starts leading into the Christmas period. You will collect the truck from Crick depot, complete a short 2–3 delivery run with a driver’s mate, and return the vehicle to Crick at the end of the shift.

The role offers consistent weekend work with early starts and minimal drops, with start times at 03:00, 03:30 or 03:45.

Qualifications

• Full UK HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence is required.
• Valid CPC & Tachograph Card.
• No more than 6 penalty points.
• Reliable, professional and confident working with a drivers mate.
• Good communication and paperwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Collect truck from Crick depot.
• Complete 2–3 deliveries only.
• Return any collections.
• Drop off driver’s mate.
• Return truck to Crick.
• Approx. 9–10 hour shift.
