Job summary

People Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 1 Driver Nights to join our well-established client based in Crick. This is a fantastic opportunity offering ongoing work throughout the year and long-term stability within a supportive working environment.

Day-to-day duties include depot-to-depot trunking, operating Category C+E vehicles, performing vehicle checks, securing loads, and completing transport documentation in line with legislation and company procedures.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Category C+E (Class 1) licence.
• Driver CPC card required.
• Digital Tachograph card required.
• Minimum two years C+E experience.
• No more than six penalty points.

Responsibilities

• Complete depot-to-depot trunking deliveries.
• Operate Category C+E vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Carry out pre-use and post-use vehicle checks.
• Ensure loads are secured safely.
• Complete transport paperwork and documentation.
• Comply with road transport legislation and company procedures.

HGV Class 1 Driver Nights - Crick

People Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 1 Driver Nights to join our well-established client based in Crick. This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, ongoing work throughout the year, and long-term stability within a supportive working environment.

This role may be suitable for candidates with experience as an LGV Class 1 Driver, Category CE Driver or Articulated Lorry Driver.

Rates of Pay:

Days

• £17.92 per hour (Basic)
• £24.55 per hour (Overtime after 48 hours)

Nights

• £19.95 per hour (Basic)
• £25.44 per hour (Overtime after 48 hours)

All rates are PAYE with holiday accrued separately.

Shift Pattern:

• Monday to Friday, start times between 04:00 and 08:00
• Sunday to Thursday, start times between 19:00 and 02:00
• Ad hoc shifts and full weeks available
• Ongoing work all year round
• Immediate starts available

• Completing all relevant transport paperwork and documentation
• Complying with all road transport legislation and company procedures

Essential Skills:

To be successful as an HGV Class 1 Driver Nights, you will need:

• A valid UK Category C+E (Class 1) Driving Licence
• A valid Driver CPC Card
• A valid Digital Tachograph Card
• A minimum of two years' Category C+E driving experience
• No more than six penalty points for minor offences

Training:

• Driver assessment prior to commencement
• Industry-related training and ongoing support throughout the assignment
