Job summary

Candidate Source is seeking a Class 2 Driver to join our freight operation based near Crick, with full-time, ongoing work and the potential to secure a permanent contract.

You will complete scheduled store deliveries to retail addresses, use tail lifts safely, and keep delivery records accurate, with 10-hour shifts and start times at 03:00 or 17:00.

There are options for Monday to Friday or Sunday to Thursday patterns, holidays pro rata, and a reliable route to long-term employment.

Qualifications

• Valid Category C driving licence.
• Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Experience delivering commercially.
• Safety footwear and high-visibility vest required.

Responsibilities

• Complete scheduled store deliveries to retail addresses.
• Use tail lifts safely when loading and unloading deliveries.
• Transport goods securely and in line with delivery schedules.
• Complete the required driving and delivery documentation accurately.
• Follow relevant road transport, tachograph and working time regulations.
• Maintain safe working practices throughout each shift.

Job description

As a Class 2 Driver, you'll have ongoing, full-time work, regular shifts and the potential to secure a permanent position.

You'll be completing store deliveries from a Crick based transport operation, with a choice of shift patterns and start times to suit different working preferences.
