Job summary

The Best Connection Employment Group is recruiting a Class 2 Driver for Crawley to join a professional logistics team delivering a range of home improvement products. The role involves multi-drop deliveries with manual handling and a start time around 05:00, finishing around 14:00, depending on schedules.

You will operate a Class 2 vehicle, ensure timely deliveries, perform pre/post-shift checks, and provide excellent customer service across the distribution network in the Crawley area.

Position Details

• Location: Crawley
• Pay Rate: £17.51 per hour
• Sector: Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain
• Working Pattern: Tuesday to Saturday
• Start Time: 05:00
• Finish Time: Approximately 14:00 (depending on delivery schedules)

The Role

As a Class 2 Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of a range of products, including:

• Kitchen worktops
• White goods
• Appliances
• Other home improvement and household products

This role involves multi-drop deliveries and regular manual handling, making it ideal for drivers who enjoy a physically active role within the Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Class 2 (Category C) vehicle.
• Deliver worktops, white goods, and other bulky items to residential and commercial customers.
• Carry out vehicle checks before and after each shift.
• Ensure deliveries are completed accurately and on time.
• Provide excellent customer service at delivery locations.
• Work closely with warehouse and transport teams to ensure efficient operations.
• Comply with all road transport regulations, health and safety procedures, and company policies.

Requirements

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) Licence.
• Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Previous Class 2 driving experience preferred.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to undertake heavy lifting and manual handling duties.
