Job summary

Manpower, Inc. is recruiting reliable and professional Class 1 Drivers to join a leading UK logistics organisation. You will operate Class 1 vehicles on planned routes between distribution centres and delivery locations, with an 8 hour shift guarantee and competitive hourly pay.

The role offers ongoing temporary work with various shifts, full PPE provided, and access to wellbeing resources. You will perform vehicle checks, load and unload, complete paperwork and electronic records, and work

Qualifications

• Valid UK C+E driving licence.
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• No more than 6 penalty points and no serious driving endorsements.
• 1 year previous Class 1 driving experience within a logistics environment.
• Strong understanding of UK road transport legislation and vehicle safety.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
• Professional, reliable and customer-focused.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• 21 days' annual leave plus bank holidays.
• 8 hour guarantee per shift.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class 1 vehicle on planned routes between distribution centres and delivery locations.
• Transport mail, parcels and freight efficiently while meeting delivery schedules.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects in line with company procedures.
• Load and unload vehicles safely while ensuring the security of all goods.
• Complete delivery paperwork and electronic records accurately.
• Work independently while maintaining excellent communication with the wider operations team.
• Follow all road transport legislation, health and safety regulations and company policies.
