Job summary

Class 1 Personnel are recruiting a Class 2 Driver for a premier catering company based at Luton Airport. This role involves delivering food and equipment directly onto aircraft, following Health and Safety guidelines.

Shifts run 06:00–18:00 and 18:00–06:00, 4 days on and 4 days off. The candidate must have a Class 2 licence, Driver CPC, Digital Tacho Card, and be able to provide 5 years of history. Opportunities exist within a busy transport operation at the airport.

Qualifications

• Previous experience driving a Class 2 vehicle.
• Full UK licence with category C, Driver CPC and Digital Tacho Card.
• Be able to provide your last 5 years history.
• Be prepared to undergo a UK criminal Check.
• Hard working with a can-do attitude.
• UK right to work and National Insurance proof.

Responsibilities

• Drive a Class 2 Lorry in the safest manner.
• Respond quickly to requirements in a busy environment.
• Support all transport-related duties.
• Follow directions from senior staff to help the operation succeed.

This role mainly consists of delivering food and equipment directly on to an Aircraft in the safest way following all Health and Safety guidelines.

Shift Times: 06:00 - 18:00 and 18:00 - 06:00 doing 4 days on with 4 days off.

The Candidate:

To be considered for the Class 2 Driver role you'll need to be able to demonstrate good attention to detail skills.

• Previous experience in driving a Class 2 vehicle
• Must have a full UK licence with category C, Driver CPC card and Digital Tacho Card
• Be able to provide your last 5 years history
• Be prepared to undergo a UK criminal Check
• Hard working
• Keen and have a "can do attitude"
• Reliable
• UK right to work
• Proof of National Insurance
• Be able to get to Birmingham Airport for 06:00am
