Job summary

Ourbob is seeking a Class 2 Driver in Bedford to join a client in the wholesale drinks distribution sector. You will perform multi-drop deliveries, work in a two-person team, and handle manual loading and unloading as required.

The role offers PAYE pay, with shifts Monday to Friday (07:00–17:00) and opportunities for permanent placement after 12 weeks. UK DCPC and Digi-tacho cards are required, with restrictions on endorsements and a clean driving record preferred.

Qualifications

• Class 2 licence is required.
• UK DCPC card and Digi-tacho card required.
• WTD knowledge preferred but not mandatory.

Pay Rates: £17.85 to £20.00 p/h (£17.85 basic + £2.15 holiday pay = £20.00p/h)

Shifts: Monday to Friday -Day Shifts (07:00 - 17:00)

All applicants are expected to complete work to a high standard while following site safety procedures. You will be driving a clean, modern vehicle and our client is offering permanent placements after a 12 week qualifying period.

About you:

You must have your Class 2 driving licence.You must also have your UK DCPC card and a valid Digi-tacho card.Our client may accept up to 6 points on your licence, but we can not accept DD, TT, DR, CD, IN endorsements. As a professional Driver, you will be up to date with the WTD regulations.

You will be a UK resident and will be able to travel to and from the site for your shift. We are unable to assist with VISA applications and cannot assist with relocation.
