Job summary

ARR Craib Ltd in Aberdeen is seeking a Class 2 Driver to join our rota-based transport team. You will perform multi-drop deliveries and collections, ensuring loads are secured and daily vehicle checks are completed.

You will need a UK Class 2 licence, DCPC and Digital Tachograph Driver Card, with a strong focus on customer service and meeting deadlines. Overtime is available and a range of benefits accompanies the role.

Responsibilities

• Use curtain side trailers to make multi drop collections and deliveries mainly on our bread contract.

• Stay in regular communication with the transport team to provide progress updates.
• Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated with industry standards.

About the Role

As a Class 2 Driver, you will:

• Use curtain side trailers to make multi drop collections and deliveries mainly on our bread contract however holiday cover and sick cover will be required across other areas of the business.
• Ensure goods are loaded and secured correctly to prevent shifting or damage. Use straps and other securing devices as needed.
• Perform comprehensive daily vehicle safety checks using your company phone to maintain top-notch vehicle safety and reliability.
• Stay in regular communication with the transport team to provide updates on your progress and ensure our customers' expectations are met.
• Participate in regular training sessions to stay ahead with the latest industry standards and best practices.

Essential Skills and Qualifications
