Job summary

ARR Craib Ltd. is hiring dedicated drivers for local deliveries of oil and gas equipment using curtain side or flatbed trailers. You will secure loads, perform daily safety checks, and keep the transport team updated to meet customers' expectations.

The role requires a UK Class 1 CE Licence, DCPC and Digital Tachograph, with ADR preferred but not essential. Training is provided, and weekend overtime at enhanced rates is available.

Responsibilities

• Use a curtain side or flatbed trailer to deliver and collect oil and gas equipment within the local area.
• Ensure goods are loaded and secured correctly to prevent shifting or damage using straps and nets.
• Perform comprehensive daily vehicle safety checks to maintain safety and reliability.
• Stay in regular communication with the transport team to provide updates and meet customer expectations.
• Participate in regular training sessions to stay up to date with industry standards.

• Perform comprehensive daily vehicle safety checks using your company phone to maintain top-notch vehicle safety and reliability.
• Stay in regular communication with the transport team to provide updates on your progress and ensure our customers' expectations are met.
• Participate in regular training sessions to stay ahead with the latest industry standards and best practices.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

Competitive Salary: £14.29ph plus an additional £2.75 premium per hour for working a Saturday and Sunday.

Shift Hours: Start times vary between 05:00hrs and 08:00hrs. Finish times are dependent on operational requirements and typically fall between 16:00hrs and 20:00hrs.

Overtime: Weekends may be required as per operational requirements. Enhanced rates for working weekends.
