Job summary

ARR Craib Ltd. is recruiting a Class 1 Driver for a Monday–Friday days shift at Queenslie, Glasgow. This role involves multi-drop pallet deliveries across Central Scotland using curtain-side trailers.

You will secure loads, perform safety checks, and stay in touch with the transport team to meet customer expectations. The ideal candidate holds a UK Class 1 CE Licence, a DCPC Card, and a Digital Tachograph Card, with a strong customer-service focus and the ability to work to deadlines.

Qualifications

• Must hold a UK Class 1 CE Licence.
• Current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.

Responsibilities

• Use curtain-side trailers to make multi-drop deliveries of pallets within Central Scotland.
• Ensure goods are loaded and secured correctly using straps and nets.
• Perform daily vehicle safety checks using company phone.
• Stay in regular contact with transport team and provide progress updates.
• Attend regular training sessions to stay updated with industry standards.

About The Role

As a Class 1 Driver, you will:

• Use curtain-side trailers to make multi-drop collections and deliveries of pallets within the Pallet Network throughout Central Scotland.
• Ensure goods are loaded and secured correctly to prevent shifting or damage using straps, nets, and other securing devices.
• Perform comprehensive daily vehicle safety checks using your company phone to maintain top-notch vehicle safety and reliability.
• Stay in regular communication with the transport team to provide updates on your progress and ensure our customers' expectations are met.
• Participate in regular training sessions to stay ahead with the latest industry standards and best practices
