Job summary

ARR Craib Ltd. is recruiting a Class 1 Driver to perform multi-drop pallet deliveries across Central Scotland. You will ensure secure loading and daily vehicle checks, with regular updates to the transport team and a focus on safety and reliability.

The role offers a Monday–Friday shift starting at 08:00, with overtime and weekend rate enhancements. Training, benefits, and a strong team culture are provided.

Qualifications

• Must hold a UK Class 1 CE Licence.
• Current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Passionate about providing excellent customer service.
• Ability to work to deadlines.
• Confident, polite, and a team player.

Responsibilities

• Carry out multi-drop collections and deliveries of pallets within Central Scotland using curtain-side trailers.
• Ensure goods are loaded and secured correctly to prevent shifting or damage.
• Perform comprehensive daily vehicle safety checks using your company phone.
• Stay in regular communication with the transport team to provide progress updates.
• Participate in training sessions to stay updated with industry standards.

About the Role

As a Class 1 Driver, you will:

• Use curtain-side trailers to make multi-drop collections and deliveries of pallets within the Pallet Network throughout Central Scotland.
• Ensure goods are loaded and secured correctly to prevent shifting or damage using straps, nets, and other securing devices.
• Perform comprehensive daily vehicle safety checks using your company phone to maintain top-notch vehicle safety and reliability.
• Stay in regular communication with the transport team to provide updates on your progress and ensure our customers' expectations are met.
• Participate in regular training sessions to stay ahead with the latest industry standards and best practices

Essential Skills and Qualifications

• Must hold a UK Class 1 CE Licence
• Current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card
• Passionate about providing excellent customer service
