Job summary

Booker Group is seeking a driver to join our delivery team in a local driving role. The position is part-time, 3 days per week (Monday, Wednesday and Friday), with duties including loading at the branch and unloading at customer sites to ensure timely deliveries and great service.

You will contribute to keeping shelves stocked and maintain accurate paperwork. A Cat C / 18T licence is required, with at least two years of driving experience; delivery driving experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal skills with a positive customer service attitude.
• Good level of literacy and numeracy.
• Previous driving experience of at least two years.
• Delivery driving experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive locally as part of a delivery team to customers.

Do you want more local driving and be a valued member of a delivery team? This may be the role for you. You will enjoy a varied role driving locally as well as building relationships with our regular customers.

Our drivers are the beating heart of our business and you will play a vital role in ensuring customers receive their deliveries on time and with a great service.

This role is a part time role, working 3 days per week (Monday, Wednesday and Friday)

Making sure our customers are able to keep their shelves full with the products needed by their customers. You’ll be loading stock in to the vehicle at the Branch and unloading at the customer premises. You’ll also need to ensure the paperwork is completed accurately.

Cat C / 18T Licence / Class 2

Previous experience of driving (at least two years)

Previous experience of delivery driving is preferred

Ability to carry out manual deliveries

Excellent interpersonal skills with a positive customer service attitude

Good level of literacy and numeracy
