Job summary

Driver Hire Southampton is seeking Class 2 (Cat C) drivers for regular Monday-to-Friday work delivering drinks and snacks to airport lounges. The role is well-supported with a driver’s mate, full training provided, and a clear path to permanent employment after 12 weeks.

Newly qualified drivers welcome; DBS and airport security checks are required, and you must have an unblemished licence and 5 years of employment history for vetting. On-site parking and weekly PAYE payroll available.

Qualifications

• Full UK Cat C (Class 2) licence required.
• CPC and Digital Tachograph card required.
• Clean driving licence – no points or endorsements.
• Minimum 5 years' continuous employment history for security vetting.
• Own transport to commute.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling.

Responsibilities

• Deliver drinks and snacks to airport lounges using a Class 2 vehicle.
• Work Monday to Friday with no weekend shifts.
• Work alongside a driver’s mate to assist with deliveries.
• Complete DBS and airport security checks as required.
• Provide professional, customer-facing service.

Are you a Class 2 driver looking for regular Monday-to-Friday work, great support and the opportunity to secure a permanent position?

Driver Hire Winchesterr is recruiting Class 2 (Cat C) Drivers to join a well-established client delivering drinks and snacks to airport lounges.

This is a fantastic opportunity for both experienced Class 2 drivers and newly qualified drivers looking to build their experience and secure long-term employment.

• Monday to Friday – no weekend working
• Regular weekday hours
• Temp-to-perm – permanent position available after 12 weeks
• Newly qualified Class 2 drivers welcome

• Driver's mate provided to assist with deliveries
• Weekly PAYE or PAYE Advanced pay
• On-site parking
• Ongoing support from the local Driver Hire Southampton team

You will be responsible for delivering drinks and snacks to airport lounges using a Class 2 vehicle.

• Start times between 7:00am and 8:30am
• Monday to Friday
• Deliveries made using cages
• Working alongside a driver's mate
• Customer-facing role, so a professional and friendly approach is important
• Manual handling will be involved

What We’re Looking For

To be considered, you will need:
