Job summary

Candidate Source Ltd in Leicester is looking for a Class 2 Driver to join our weekday team. You’ll start on days, complete around 15 multi‑drop deliveries, and progress as you gain experience.

The role offers fully paid breaks, an hourly rate of £15.00, and a genuine path to permanent employment, with shifts typically 7:00am to 9:00am starts. You will carry out vehicle safety checks, deliver safely to business customers, provide professional service, and comply with transport legislation and

Qualifications

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) driving licence.
• Valid Driver CPC qualification.
• Digital Tachograph Card.
• Safety footwear and high-visibility vest.
• Multi-drop delivery experience is beneficial, newly qualified encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Complete approximately 15 multi-drop deliveries daily, mainly to business customers.
• Carry out daily vehicle safety checks and complete required paperwork.
• Deliver goods safely, efficiently and on schedule.
• Provide professional customer service at each delivery point.
• Follow transport legislation and company procedures.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report defects promptly.

Job description

This Class 2 Driver opportunity offers you consistent weekday work, fully paid breaks and the chance to secure a permanent role with a well-established transport and logistics operation. Whether you're an experienced licence holder or have recently passed your test, you'll receive the support needed to build confidence on the road. Newly qualified drivers may begin on smaller vehicles before progressing to larger vehicles as their skills are assessed.

What we're looking for in a Class 2 Driver - Days

Working Hours

Monday to Friday with start times between 7:00am and 9:00am
