Job summary

Booker Group is seeking a delivery driver to operate locally and build relationships with regular customers. You will contribute to timely deliveries and excellent service, loading stock into the vehicle and unloading at customer premises, while ensuring accurate paperwork.

The role requires a Category C / 18T licence, with prior driving experience preferred and a 45-hour week across Mon-Fri with occasional Saturdays.

• Excellent interpersonal skills with a positive customer service attitude.
• Good level of literacy and numeracy.
• Delivery driving experience preferred.
• Category C / 18T licence is required.

Do you want more local driving and be a valued member of a delivery team? This may be the role for you. You will enjoy a varied role driving locally as well as building relationships with our regular customers.

Our drivers are the beating heart of our business and you will play a vital role in ensuring customers receive their deliveries on time and with a great service.

This is a 7 day operation, our shift patternsmay include some weekend working.

Making sure our customers are able to keep their shelves full with the products needed by their customers. You’ll be loading stock in to the vehicle at the Branch and unloading at the customer premises. You’ll also need to ensure the paperwork is completed accurately.

CatC / 18T Licence / Class 2

Previous experience of driving (at least two years)

Previous experience of delivery driving is preferred

Ability to carry out manual deliveries

Excellent interpersonal skills with a positive customer service attitude

Good level of literacy and numeracy
