Job summary

Booker is seeking delivery drivers to join our local route team. You will drive locally, build strong relationships with regular customers, and help ensure shelves are stocked with essentials.

This 7 day operation may include weekend work. We emphasize accurate paperwork, customer service excellence, and safe, timely deliveries to diverse customer sites.

Qualifications

• CatC / 18T Licence / Class 2 required
• Previous driving experience of at least two years
• Delivery driving experience preferred
• Ability to carry out manual deliveries
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a positive customer service attitude
• Good level of literacy and numeracy

Responsibilities

• Load stock into the vehicle at the branch and unload at customer premises.
• Drive locally as part of a delivery team and build relationships with regular customers.
• Ensure paperwork is completed accurately.
• Deliver goods on time and provide great service to customers.

Do you want more local driving and be a valued member of a delivery team? This may be the role for you. You will enjoy a varied role driving locally as well as building relationships with our regular customers.

Our drivers are the beating heart of our business and you will play a vital role in ensuring customers receive their deliveries on time and with a great service.

This is a 7 day operation, our shift patternsmay include some weekend working.

Making sure our customers are able to keep their shelves full with the products needed by their customers. You'll be loading stock in to the vehicle at the Branch and unloading at the customer premises. You'll also need to ensure the paperwork is completed accurately.

CatC / 18T Licence / Class 2

Previous experience of driving (at least two years)

Previous experience of delivery driving is preferred

Ability to carry out manual deliveries

Excellent interpersonal skills with a positive customer service attitude

Good level of literacy and numeracy
