Job summary

Driver Hire Portsmouth is seeking an HGV Class 2 Driver for Fareham area on a temporary basis with immediate start. Role covers cage deliveries to convenience stores in Portsmouth and surroundings.

You must hold Class 2 licence, CPC and tachograph cards, with up to 6 points, and prior cage-delivery experience. Flexible shifts and ongoing opportunities available.

Competitive hourly pay £15.05–£18.50, paid weekly, with regular cage delivery work and reliable workload.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid driver's licence with no more than 6 points.
• Valid Class 2 (HGV/LGV, Category C) driving licence.
• Valid CPC card and Tacho Card.
• Proven experience in cage delivery operations.
• Ability to adapt to different assignments and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Operate Class 2 vehicles for cage deliveries to convenience stores.
• Ensure safe loading, transportation, and unloading of goods using cages.
• Complete multi-drop deliveries in a timely and professional manner.
• Handle the physical demands of the job and operate vehicles safely.
• Maintain strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
