Job summary

Cleansing Service Group Limited is seeking an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver to join our team in Aylesford. The role includes collecting non-hazardous waste, communicating with customers, and ensuring accurate paperwork and safety compliance.

You will be part of a team that values reliability, safety, and service quality, with a guaranteed minimum of 40 hours per week and overtime options. Training is provided where needed and ADR is advantageous but not essential.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Collect non-hazardous waste in a Class 2 vehicle.
• Carry out heavy lifting as part of daily duties.
• Occasional overnight stays with night-out pay.
• Advise and communicate with customers to maintain loyalty.
• Complete driver paperwork accurately and on time.
• Adhere to Health and Safety policies and drive company vehicles professionally.

Role Accountabilities:

• The driver will be collecting non-hazardous waste in a Class 2 Vehicle.
• Daily duties will involve some heavy lifting.
• Must be willing to spend nights out away on the odd occasion. (night out payment).
• Advising & communicating with customers.
• Averaging 40 hours a week, plus overtime.
• Ensure that all driver related paperwork is completed accurately and submitted on time.
• Raise any issues, problems, or concerns with your Line Manager at the earliest opportunity.
• Deal with Customers in a manner that retains their loyalty to the Company and delivers an outstanding service.
• Ensure compliance with the Group's Health and Safety policy and behaviours.
• Drive and operate Company vehicles and equipment in a professional, safe and legal manner.

The Candidate:

• HGV Class 1 Driver
• ADR Licence is an advantage but not essential as training can be given.
• Previous relevant driving experience and possession of a Digi-card
• Must be able to provide excellent customer service.
• A level of written and mathematical skills, as there will be paperwork involved.
• A flexible approach to the role
• Experience of working in the waste sector, full training will be given
• A basic understanding of IT, works are delivered with a handheld tablet.
