Job summary

RecruitMe in Stamford, Lincolnshire, is seeking an experienced Class 1 Welder/Fabricator to join our engineering and manufacturing team. This day-shift role offers a strong basic salary and the chance to work on high-quality engineered products for major industrial projects.

You will perform Class 1 welding and fabrication to drawings, producing high-quality welded assemblies, preparing and welding materials accurately, and adhering to procedures and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Class 1 Welder/Fabricator.
• Strong MIG/MAG welding experience.
• Experience reading engineering drawings.
• X-ray/radiographic weld inspection experience is a major advantage.

Responsibilities

• Class 1 welding and fabrication to drawings and specifications.
• Produce high-quality welded assemblies and fabricated components.
• Prepare, fit and weld materials accurately.
• Work to welding procedures and quality standards.
• Carry out visual checks and maintain weld quality.
• Support fabrication and general manufacturing activities; maintain health and safety standards.
