Job summary

Prism 7 Resourcing seeks professional Class 1 Trunking Drivers to join our client in Birmingham. You will transport goods using flatbed lorries, ensure timely deliveries across UK routes, and maintain vehicle integrity throughout shifts.

Ideal candidates hold a valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence with Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card, plus safety boots/shoes and hi-vis clothing. Training and a modern fleet support efficient operations.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 1 Licence is required.
• Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card must be held.
• Adhere to safety standards and company policies.
• Complete basic vehicle checks and report defects.
• Wear safety clothing and PPE as required.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class 1 vehicles and complete trunking deliveries.
• Plan and follow routes across the UK with timely deliveries.
• Maintain vehicle condition and report faults.
• Uphold high standards of service and safety on every shift.
• Complete paperwork and driver logs accurately.

Prism 7 Resourcing are seeking multiple professional and reliable Class 1 Trunking Drivers to join our client's team in Birmingham.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods, primarily using flatbed lorries for commercial deliveries. This role offers an excellent opportunity for experienced drivers with a focus on delivering high standards of service and safety. The position involves driving across various routes, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining vehicle integrity throughout shifts.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading healthcare logistics company, completing trunking deliveries across the UK in a modern fleet of temperature-controlled vehicles.

Trunking deliveries to locations including Newcastle, Preston, Leeds, Hinckley, Letchworth, Croydon, Swansea, Exeter and more, with most routes involving a return to Birmingham.

Pay Rates

• Days (06:00AM - 22:00PM) - £16.98ph
• Nights (22:00PM - 06:00AM) -£22.64ph
• Days overtime - £22.59ph
• Nights overtime - £ £28.25ph
