Job summary

Prism 7 Resourcing are seeking multiple professional and reliable Class 1 Trunking Drivers to join our client’s team in Birmingham. The role focuses on safe, on-time trunking deliveries across the UK using a modern fleet of temperature-controlled vehicles.

Shifts include Days (06:00AM – 22:00PM) and Nights (22:00PM – 06:00AM) with overtime available. You will need a valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence, Driver CPC, Digital Tachograph Card, safety boots and hi-vis clothing.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence.
• Valid Driver CPC & Digital Tachograph Card.
• Safety boots/shoes (no rigger boots).
• Hi-vis clothing required.

Responsibilities

• Safe and efficient transportation of goods via trunking deliveries.
• Deliver across UK routes, ensuring timely deliveries.
• Maintain vehicle integrity and safety during shifts.
• Adhere to company policies and road safety regulations.

Prism 7 Resourcing are seeking multiple professional and reliable Class 1 Trunking Drivers to join our client’s team in Birmingham.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods, primarily using flatbed lorries for commercial deliveries. This role offers an excellent opportunity for experienced drivers with a focus on delivering high standards of service and safety. The position involves driving across various routes, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining vehicle integrity throughout shifts.

Pay Rates:

• Days (06:00AM – 22:00PM) – £16.98ph
• Nights (22:00PM – 06:00AM) – £22.64ph

Overtime is also paid at the following rates:

• Days overtime – £22.59ph
• Nights overtime – £ £28.25ph

Trunking deliveries to locations including Newcastle, Preston, Leeds, Hinckley, Letchworth, Croydon, Swansea, Exeter and more, with most routes involving a return to Birmingham.
