Job summary

The Best Connection is recruiting a Class 1 Tramper Driver for a busy refrigerated logistics operation in Grimsby. You will be delivering frozen fish to RDCs and warehouses across the UK, operating modern fridge trailers, and staying out Monday-Friday.

Expect ongoing tramping work with weekly pay, modern vehicles, and the possibility of long-term or permanent opportunities. A supportive transport team and comprehensive benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ Class 1 (C+E) experience.
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph.
• Maximum 6 points (no DR, IN10, DG).
• Fridge trailer experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of driver hours and WTD.
• Willingness to tramp Monday-Friday.

Responsibilities

• Delivering frozen fish to RDCs and warehouses across the UK.
• Monitoring and maintaining load temperature.
• Completing all paperwork accurately.
• Ensuring vehicle cleanliness and reporting defects.
• Safe, compliant driving at all times.
