Job summary

The Best Connection are recruiting for an experienced Class 1 Tramper Driver to join a busy refrigerated logistics operation based in Grimsby, delivering frozen fish to RDCs and warehouses across the UK, staying out Monday-Friday.

You will operate modern fridge trailers, monitor load temperatures, complete paperwork accurately and maintain vehicle cleanliness while ensuring safe, compliant driving at all times.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' Class 1 (C+E) experience.
• Valid Driver CPC & Digital Tachograph.
• Maximum 6 points (no DR, IN10, DG).
• Fridge trailer experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of driver hours & WTD.
• Willingness to tramp Monday-Friday.

Responsibilities

• Delivering frozen fish to RDCs and warehouses across the UK.
• Monitoring and maintaining load temperature.
• Completing all paperwork accurately.
• Ensuring vehicle cleanliness & reporting defects.
• Safe, compliant driving at all times.

Pay Rates

• £15.50 per hour - Weekends
• £23.25 per hour - Bank Holidays
• £25.00 per night out

Schedule

Full-time | Monday to Friday | Ongoing work

Mix of local & nationwide refrigerated deliveries
