Job summary

The Best Connection Scunthorpe is currently advertising for experienced Class 1 (C+E) drivers to transport frozen chicken in refrigerated trailers on an ongoing basis. Role involves trunking and modern fridge trailers with consistent hours.

Shifts start between 15:00 and 18:00, with two shift patterns (Mon-Fri or Tue-Sat) and a minimum of 8 hours paid per shift; start date Monday 03/08/2026 and a minimum 8 weeks of ongoing work are stated.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence required.
• CPC qualification required.
• Digital Tachograph Card required.
• Endorsements DR, DD or DU preferred.
• Minimum 1 year Class 1 driving experience.

Pay Rates

£16.00 per hour - Day Rate

£17.50 per hour - Night Rate

Minimum 8 hours paid per shift

Start times vary between 15:00 and 18:00
