Pertemps Black Country & Shropshire Drivers is seeking an experienced Class 1 Tramper Driver for Aldridge on a holiday cover basis. The role involves delivering Amazon freight on a depot-to-depot pattern across the UK with minimal manual handling.

You will operate Class 1 vehicles from the Aldridge depot, maintain daily vehicle checks, and comply with transport regulations while providing a professional, customer-focused service. Immediate starts available for suitable candidates.

Qualifications

• Must hold UK Class 1 (C+E) licence.
• Driver CPC qualification card.
• Digital tachograph card.
• Good understanding of drivers' hours and working time regulations.
• Reliable and flexible approach to work.
• Previous Class 1 experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operating Class 1 vehicles from the Aldridge depot.
• Delivering Amazon freight between major NDCs, fulfilment centres and distribution hubs across the UK.
• Predominantly depot-to-depot work.
• Minimal manual handling.
• Completing daily vehicle checks and ensuring compliance with transport legislation.
• Maintaining a professional and customer-focused approach at all times.

Class 1 Tramper Driver - Aldridge

Holiday Cover Work | Monday to Friday Tramping | £20.67 per hour + £25 Night Out Allowance

We are currently recruiting experienced and professional Class 1 (C+E) Tramper Drivers based locally to provide holiday cover on a dedicated Amazon contract.

This is not a permanent full-time position, but when booked, drivers can expect to work a full Monday to Friday tramping shift pattern, covering planned driver holidays and periods of annual leave throughout the year.
